Today I have a couple of nail of the days to show you. The first is a very unusual polish called Just Busta Mauve. It's a Nicole by OPI polish - a Target exclusive for Fall 2012 that I picked up while in the states.

The second manicure is a polish by indy polish creator Hare called Afterglow.

Just Busta Mauve is a cool polish. I can't stand the shape of NOPI bottles (they don't store well and take up more space than they need to.) I only have a couple polishes by NOPI for this reason - however, JBM was too unusual to skip.
It's a bronzey micro-glitter polish filled with teeny tiny flecks of magenta and blue.
I love this micro-glitter concept - it seems really versatile and striking. I don't have another polish in my collection with a finish quite like this.
I couldn't stop staring at my nails while wearing this polish - it seemed to change in every light. I really like it, and it's a great polish for fall.
After I was done looking at Just Busta Mauve (ugh, that name!) I wanted to layer this polish - Afterglow by Hare - over it. Most people wear Afterglow over a bright blue (it looks great over Pacific Blue by Sally Hansen) but I wanted to see if wearing it over bronze would emphasize the coppery and purple glitters this gorgeous polish is filled with.
Honestly, the base of Afterglow is so pigmented that whatever is underneath it doesn't show up much at all - however, I can still see hints of that crazy micro-glitter finish peeking through.
I'm crazy about this polish. I think it's so unique, and has a remarkably smooth finish for something so full of glitter. I have a couple of other Hare polishes I'll be reviewing in the future.
I love it!
Thanks for reading, and once again, congratulations to Esther!
